Tides Family Services Volunteers Help at Charity Golf Tournament

Brother Michael Reis FSC and over 30 members of his staff at Tides Family Services worked long hours as volunteers at this year’s CVS/Caremark Charity Classic Golf Tournament held at the RI Country Club in Barrington, Rhode Island from Sunday, June 27th to Tuesday, June 29th. The volunteers were early risers arriving at 5:00 am each day and directing the VIP parking operations. During the three day event they successfully parked over two thousand cars.

As a result of their hard work in temperatures which rose to 95 degrees, Tides will be eligible for a sizable grant from the CVS/Caremark Charitable Foundation. The grant will be used for operating expenses to assist in serving over 1,000 at risk youth in the urban core areas of Providence, Pawtucket/Central Falls, Woonsocket and Kent County.
