Washington Post Does Profile on La Salle Alum Tom Donilon '73

La Salle Academy graduate Tom Donilon (Class of 1973) is the subject of a lengthy profile story in the Washington Post newspaper. Also mentioned and quoted is another La Salle grad U.S. Senator Jack Reed (Class of 1967). The story identifies both Donilon and Reed as La Salle Academy graduates.

The relevant paragraph reads:
“. . . Donilon went to Providence's La Salle Academy, a Catholic boys' school also attended by Reed, who denied that he has any interest in joining Donilon at the principals' table by replacing Gates. Donilon won a model U.N. contest at Harvard. "They were Russia," recalled Devine. Donilon went on to Catholic University, where he hit it off with another Irish Catholic guy fascinated by politics, Terry McAuliffe.”

Another La Salle alum, Thomas A. Devine (Class of 1974), is also quoted in the story although he is not identified as having graduated from La Salle Academy. To read the entire story, go to:
