Tides Family Services awarded $4000 grant

Tides was awarded a $4,000 grant by the RI Foundation at a ceremony held this morning at the International Yacht Restoration School on Thames Street. The funds will be used to purchase computers for a virtual learning program for high school dropouts so they can obtain their diplomas.

Tides recently opened a new office at 1341 West Main Road in Middletown. The office will service Tides’ growing number of clients on Aquidneck Island. Tides Family Services is a 501 3 c non-profit with 6 offices throughout the Ocean State.
