The Associate Director for Mission and Ministry works under the guidance and direction of the Executive Director for Mission and Ministry to oversee the development, delivery and promotion of mission formation programs and mission support activities.

Responsibilities and Duties | Associate Director for Mission and Ministry

• Provides accompaniment and resources to those persons and structures across the District that affect the Catholic Lasallian mission e.g. Lasallian animators, Lasallian ministry teams, and other offices and efforts pertaining to mission integration effectiveness.
• Develops and promotes new initiatives for Lasallian mission education and formation in the District in cooperation with the Executive Director.
• Provides accompaniment to the grassroots Lasallian Associations of the District.
• Facilitates mission education and formation efforts for Boards of Trustees for District-sponsored educational ministries.
• Coordinates and manages the Catholic Lasallian Assessment Process in cooperation with the Executive Director.
• Facilitates on-going professional development opportunities for Lasallian educators in District educational ministries.
• Oversees planning for District-sponsored programs that support mission and ministry activities for students and educators.
• Coordinates recruitment and enrollment for all USA-Toronto Region mission formation programs and maintains a District-database of all participants.
• Represents the District on the Regional Mission Formation Board.
• Represents the District at USA-Toronto Region-sponsored gatherings as requested by the Visitor or Executive Director.
• Provides accompaniment to the Lasallian Volunteers serving in the District
• Carries out other responsibilities and duties within the reasonable scope of this office as requested by the Visitor or Executive Director.
