This is the month of the Fourth of July, and it’s serendipitous to find an article written by a Brother about our Founding Fathers. Entitled “Pioneers For Liberty,” it appeared in Lasallian Digest, Spring 1969. A competent biologist, Brother C. Edward Quinn possessed a keen interest in the fifty-six Signers of the Declaration of Independence. The publication does not give much biographical info about him, so if anyone knows more about Brother Edward, please inform Bro. Joe Grabenstein.
