Br. Christopher Dardis, F.S.C.
Professor Emeritus of Education
Br. Christopher was born in New York City. He attended grammar school at Ascension School in Manhattan and Sacred Heart School in the Highbridge section of the Bronx. He graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Barrytown, NY.
Br. Christopher came to Manhattan College after having served as the Supervisor of Schools for the New York - New Jersey Province of the De La Salle Christian Brothers. At the College, he has served as chairman of the Education Department and Director of Graduate Education. Later, he served as director of the College's Center for Teaching. Br. Christopher holds certifications as an administrator, guidance counselor, social studies teacher and driver education teacher in New York State. He is now retired. In July 2007, he attended an Alumni Campus Abroad program in County Cork, Ireland.
