San Miguel Providence Makes Its Move
San Miguel will have a new home this fall
The San Miguel School of Providence will have a new home beginning in September 2010. After 17 years on Carter Street, San Miguel will be moving to a new location on Branch Avenue in the north end of the city.
The building, formerly St. Ann's School (right), will offer better facilities—including a gymnasium—as well as more space and new opportunities for programming and growth. The new home will help to better meet the needs of San Miguel students and families for years to come.
"We are grateful to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for their incredible generosity, which has played an important role in our success over these past seventeen years," said Brother Lawrence Goyette, FSC, Executive Director of San Miguel.
"As we look to the future, San Miguel will stay committed to serving those most in need. It is a change in location, not a change in mission."
