District Students Display Creative Christmas Spirit in 3rd Annual Contest
During this wonderful time of year, we asked art students from across the District to capture the spirit of the Christmas season in their own creative way. This year’s theme:
The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord.” And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” — From Luke 2:10-11,13-15
A total of 21 submissions were entered for the District of Eastern North America Christmas Card contest. Even though only one entry was chosen to be the cover of the Christmas card, we wanted to make sure all of artists and their work were showcased below.
