Christian Brothers Academy Syracuse Holds Annual Father-Daughter Breakfast

5/1/2011 - Dewitt, NY – On May 1, 2011, fathers and grandfathers gathered at Christian Brothers Academy with their daughters and granddaughters for an annual springtime tradition, the Father-Daughter Communion Breakfast. The morning began with a Mass, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Ronald Bill, with fathers and daughters participating as readers, gift bearers, and musicians.

Later, those attending moved into the cafeteria where they enjoyed a buffet breakfast and were treated to an address by Dr. James A. Longo, parent of CBA alum Katie Longo '06, and local cardiologist. Dr. Longo shared personal stories and wisdom regarding his own father/daughter relationship. The event was sponsored by the Office of Campus Ministry and the CBA Parent Club.
