This will be the first District Chapter for The Brothers of the Christian Schools of the District of Eastern North America. In the first part of this Chapter, we will complete items of business set forth during the Constitutive Assembly of 2009. The second part of the Chapter will address a larger agenda as developed during the first Chapter session as well as receive proposals from the Mission Assembly.

District Chapter is required by The Rule of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and is

“. . .an Assembly of a pastoral and administrative nature (which) manifests the profound
unity existing among the Brothers and permits their active participation in the structures
of reflection and decision in the District. . .It evaluates the life of the District in all its
aspects . . .and establishes a precise program for renewal (and) adoption or growth
to be implemented in the near future.” (Rules 128)

I am pleased to announce, having followed the guidelines and procedures approved by the District Council, the following Brothers are Delegates to the District Chapter.
