FORMAL EVENT
On Thursday evening, the Mass of First Vows, social, and banquet are formal events. Please plan to dress in black shirt/collar, and suit; business suit/shirt and tie, or robe.
PHOTOGRAPHER
On Thursday evening, outside the dining room, there will be a photographer to take formal portraits for use in the District Directory and other publications. We ask everyone to have his picture taken. Those Brothers for whom we have no picture on file, will receive a definite picture-taking appointment. Thank you for your cooperation.
SCHEDULE
Please check the attached schedule for details regarding our time together and the flow of events. There will be Mass on Sunday evening, following the brief welcome and opening ritual at 7:30. Travel safely!
SMALL GROUPS
There will be a number of opportunities for small group interaction. We will follow the same format for those groups as in our last large gathering at LSU, using a series of classrooms in Olney Hall. Your small group assignment will be on your name tag. Enjoy sharing thoughts and ideas with your small group of Brothers.
SHIRTS
If you did not previously sign up for a commemorative shirt, please do so by Monday, June 27. The order will be placed on Tuesday. Contact Chuck at mrozinski@fscdena.org or (732) 380 -7926.
RECREATION ACTIVITIES-OFF CAMPUS
Final information regarding your participation in off-campus recreation activities will be available immediately prior to the retreat. We will share information with Brothers based on the activity for which they signed. There is still time to sign up if you have not already done so. However, we request that you sign up as soon as possible. To do so, please contact Chuck (See e-mail/phone above.)
RECREATION ACTIVITIES-ON CAMPUS
You will receive specific information regarding what is available on-campus when you arrive. We have requested La Salle University to provide access to the pool, gym, fitness areas, and library. We also hope to have internet access available. Details to follow.
NEW BROTHERS’ SHIRTS
We plan to have the vendor for Brothers’ new shirts available during the retreat. The vendor will display the shirts as well as take advanced orders. Additional information will be provided at the retreat. Shirts should be available in early fall, if all goes according to plan.
HEALTH CARE
Mary Gorman, RN, and Sister Maryann Burgoyne, RSM, RN, will be at the retreat, ready to assist you with any health care needs you may have during the retreat.
