Christian Brothers Academy seniors Lauren DeLorenzo and Tim Pierret, both of Fayetteville, recently returned from the prestigious “Reilly Visitation Program” at the University of Notre Dame.
Invitations to the Reilly Visitation Program are given to a select group of students. Chosen from among the top one-percent of the applicant pool, Reilly invitees demonstrate an impressive academic record, along with intellectual curiosity, strong leadership skills, and dedication to extracurricular activities.
While at the four-day campus immersion program, Lauren and Tim were able to meet with professors and attend classes, dine in the Notre Dame Stadium Press Box, visit the South Bend homeless shelter, attend a women’s basketball game and a student-run play, as well as experience dorm life with a student host.
Tim will be attending University of Notre Dame. Lauren is undecided at this time. She has also been accepted at University of Rochester and Le Moyne and is waiting to hear on other college applications, including MIT, Harvard and Princeton.
