The Holy Season Advent
The Church gifts us with the rhythm of the liturgical calendar to remind us that we live both a Chronos and Kairos existence. As pilgrims on our faith journey, we welcome this time to ponder the ongoing movements of salvation history and to consider its meaning for our lives.
This annual retreat invites you to reflect upon the Gospel for each Sunday of Advent through the lens of Lasallian spirituality. Saint John Baptist de La Salle left us a great spiritual treasure in his Method of Interior Prayer, and each week of this retreat has been crafted so you can enter into this prayer tradition of our Founder.
The theme for this year is Jesus The Light For All Humankind and is inspired by Lasallian Reflection 7: To Dream is Our Way Forward!
Give yourself the gift of time this Advent — join with other Lasallians from around the world in participating in this year’s DENA Advent retreat. Put aside just 15 minutes of quiet time to enter into the retreat experience, though that time can be extended or lessened to suit your personal needs.
Thank you for joining us on this spiritual pilgrimage as together and by association we prepare our hearts for a joyous Christmas celebration.
