New This Year:

Highlights from the Holy Land and Christian Brothers’ ministry Bethlehem University.

Each of the DENA Lenten Online Retreat reflections is written by a Christian Brother who has or is currently serving at this unique ministry.

For the holy season of Lent, we have a number of resources for you to use with students and faculty for prayer and reflection. Please see the following for videos, links, and a Self Guided Lenten Retreat from the Office of Vocation and Brothers’ Formation.

Bethlehem University is a Catholic co-educational institution in the Lasallian tradition whose mission is to provide quality higher education to the people of Palestine and to serve them in its role as a center for the advancement, sharing and use of knowledge. Bethlehem University of the Holy Land was founded in 1973, open to students of all faith traditions. Bethlehem University, the first university established in the West Bank, can trace its roots to 1893 when the De La Salle Christian Brothers opened schools in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Jaffa, Nazareth, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt.

As part of our Catholic Lasallian heritage, we pray and discern the meaning of Lent in our lives and celebrate the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ!
