Thank You for Choosing to Give
Other Ways to Give
Your unrestricted gift offers our leadership the ability to respond to the greatest needs of our District. A gift directed to our greatest need not only allows us to respond to the most pressing Christian Brother initiatives, but is also a vote of confidence in our Lasallian educational mission.
Retired & Infirm Brothers
Gifts in support of our retired and infirm Brothers are a wonderful expression of gratitude for their lives of educational service to youth. Please help us continue to provide excellent care and a dignified retirement for these men that have dedicated their lives to generations of Lasallians. We currently have 3 facilities for our retired Brothers, located in Maryland, New Jersey and Rhode Island.
Vocation & Formation of Young Brothers
The recruitment, education and formation of young Brothers continues. These young men who have chosen a life of service will help us continue our Christian Brother tradition, and serve as a guiding force in our Lasallian educational and social service ministries.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle Scholarship Fund
The St. John Baptist de La Salle Fund seeks to ensure a Christian Brothers education is accessible to students most significantly in need. This specially dedicated fund was established by the Brothers to provide aid to students and families throughout our District, who, without our help, could not financially afford a quality Lasallian education. We hope you will consider a donation to help grow this fund.
San Miguel Schools
San Miguel Schools are middle schools that charge minimal tuition to serve low income, urban children and their families. We currently have 4 San Miguel Schools in our district located in Providence RI, Philadelphia PA, Washington D.C. and Freeport NY. These schools currently serve 271 students, with 280 graduates currently in high school receiving program and/or tuition support. 92% of our San Miguel students are African American or Hispanic. Over 90% of students qualify for free or reduced cost lunch programs.
The Brothers of our district serve the educational needs of youth in a number of overseas and foreign missions in Canada, Jamaica, Italy, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Palestinian Territories, the Philippines and Vietnam. A gift to support these missions not only increases our ability to serve youth, but also helps with the formation of young Brothers locally in these countries.
