Together and by association, Brothers and Lasallians carry out the educational mission. Associative Groups are born out of this tenant, deriving skill and spirituality from one another to create educational communities to better serve their ministries and students. The Associative Groups are connected to and influence DENA through the Association for Lasallian Mission Committee.

LAAST’s Lasallian membership are centered in the Capitol District of New York, but reach far west along the I-90 corridor to Niagara Falls.
