#1LaSalle Campaign

What is the #1LaSalle Campaign?

The #1LaSalle Campaign is an initiative launched by the La Salle Foundation to unify the global Lasallian community in supporting educational missions worldwide. Its primary goal is to assist 15 global projects by providing resources and support to vulnerable students and communities through fundraising.

This global initiative responds to the 46th General Chapter’s call to extend aid to marginalized populations, ensuring the sustainability and viability of the Lasallian mission worldwide.

DENA Supports the #1LaSalle Campaign

As part of our long-standing tradition of having mission drives in our schools, the District of Eastern North America (DENA) launched a fundraising initiative this season of Lent starting on Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2025, and concluding on April 20, 2025. This mission drive will ensure that the almsgiving of Lent goes to support projects for the poor around the world.

We are inviting Lasallians to contribute at least $100—a sacrifice of $2.50 per day for the 40 days of Lent. This collective effort will help sustain and expand projects that provide education, empowerment, sustainability, and hope to underserved communities worldwide. The DENA office created resource materials for the campaign which can be accessed below.
