A District-wide formation experience for high school student leaders across the District of Eastern North America.
The Lasallian Student Leaders Retreat (LSLR) brings together student leaders from Lasallian ministries across the District of Eastern North America for a shared experience of faith, leadership formation, and community.
Rooted in the Lasallian tradition, the retreat provides space for reflection, dialogue, accompaniment, and collaboration. Participants grow as servant leaders, deepen their understanding of the mission, and return to their schools prepared to lead with purpose and integrity. LSLR is not simply a gathering. It is a formative experience that strengthens young leaders and fosters a deeper commitment to faith, service, and community.
Ultreia is currently gathering young Lasallian leaders in Huntington, New York for a five-day retreat rooted in the Lasallian tradition. Through keynote sessions, small-group accompaniment, leadership dialogue, and communal prayer, students are deepening their faith and strengthening their capacity to lead in their schools and communities.

Julia Mayer brings a deep commitment to Young Lasallians, mission, and formation through her leadership in the District of Central Europe.
Damian Khoury brings a creative and deeply human approach to youth ministry, shaped by years of accompanying young people across the District of Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Papua New Guinea, as well as other Lasallian communities around the world.
Abby Michels brings a joyful commitment to Lasallian formation and student leadership, shaped by her experience as a Lasallian Volunteer, educator, and mission leader.
Br. Robert Schaefer, FSC, brings decades of experience in Lasallian education, formation, and leadership as Visitor of the District of Eastern North America (DENA).
Br. Armin Luistro, FSC, brings decades of leadership in education, public service, and Lasallian mission. He continues to help guide the global Lasallian family in its mission of providing a human and Christian education to the young, especially those most in need.
Together, Julia, Damian, Abby, Br. Robert, and Br. Armin bring a rich blend of experience in youth formation, mission, and Lasallian leadership to Ultreia 2026.
