Five young men, part of the DENA Vocation Ministry’s Bold Brotherhood program, are spending their summer in Homestead, Florida, living in community and volunteering at the La Salle Educational Center. As part of the program, they’ve been learning about the vocation of the Christian Brothers while experiencing community life. During the day, they facilitate classes and support summer activities at the Center.

Last week, they were joined by visiting Brothers, Br. Ed Shields and Br. Jim Dries. Mourad Barsoum, from the Office of Vocations and Volunteers at our International Headquarters in Rome, also spent time learning more about the ministry, meeting with staff, and joining the young men in their volunteer work.
