The gathering brought together Brothers, Partners, family members, and friends of the Lasallian Family to celebrate significant milestones in the lives of several Brothers and to witness important moments in the journey of religious vocation.
District Day began on Friday, June 26, with the Senior Brothers Jubilee Celebration at De La Salle Hall in Lincroft, New Jersey. The evening included Mass followed by a social gathering honoring the senior Brothers whose years of dedication have helped shape and sustain the Lasallian mission across the District.
The celebration continued on Saturday, June 27, with the Jubilee Celebration at the Church of St. Catharine in Holmdel, New Jersey. During the liturgy, Malcolm Glazier and Marco Hague entered postulancy, marking an important step in their vocational journey. José Javier Castro and Joseph “JD” Macioce also renewed their annual vows, reaffirming their commitment to religious life, community, and the Lasallian mission.
Following the liturgy, the community gathered for a luncheon at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, where the celebration continued in fellowship and thanksgiving.
A special part of District Day was the recognition of the District’s Jubilarians, whose anniversaries of religious profession reflect decades of faithful service to God, the Church, and the educational mission of Saint John Baptist de La Salle.
The District honored the following Jubilarians:
- 80 Years: Peter Bonventre
- 75 Years: Dominic Gisondo, Gregory Myles, Jerome Stevens, and David Van Hollebeke
- 70 Years: Jerome Cox, Lawrence Monroe, and David Rogers

Through the celebration of jubilees, the entrance into postulancy, and the renewal of vows, District Day served as an opportunity to give thanks for the enduring witness of the Brothers and to reaffirm the shared commitment of the Lasallian Family to the mission of providing a human and Christian education to young people, especially those most in need.
As the District gathered in prayer, fraternity, and gratitude, District Day 2026 stood as a testament to the vitality of the Lasallian vocation and the continuing legacy of faith, service, and community in Eastern North America.
